Guadiana greenway Isla Canela is 17 kilometres long and runs along part of what used to be the mining railway line between Herrerias and Puerto de la Laja. We took the boat trip to Donana, Isla Canela which visits both the nature reserve and the national park. The trip travels alongside the beach of the park and was interesting both for the flora and fauna and seeing all of the different river traffic. The short walk through the park was very interetsing and the guide very informative. It was well worthwhile visiting the exhibition in the Ice Factory before we made the trip. Exciting news a new ferry service from the Canaries to Huelva, Isla Canela. Fred Olsen Express and Balearia through its alliance Canary Bridge Seaways will launch the new route between the Canary Islands and Huelva on November 11th. There will be three weekly trips with two ferrys that will provide a reliable and quality service. The Wharf of the Caravels is a museum in Palos de la Frontera in the province of Huelva, Isla Canela autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Its most prominent exhibits are the life size replicas of Christopher Columbus’s boats for his first voyage  in 1492 to the Americas.
